I went to college at NYU in Manhattan, lived in the dorm, and got around fine on the subway. But I recently moved to Brooklyn to save on rent and got a job in Brooklyn, and I was amazed at how spread out the neighborhood actually is. It was taking me ages to get to work because I had to take the subway into Manhattan and out again so I decided to look into leasing a car because I couldn’t afford to buy one.
